INTRODUCTION TO COMPUTERIZED EMBROIDERY

Best Embroidery Digitizing Service

Computerized embroidery is all about digital embroidery ,it is different from traditional embroidery designs. It involves different softwares which digitize the designs on the fabric through screen printing and embroidery digitizing methods.

Vector is a normal design which is carried out on the t-shirts and other fabrics. The customer send us the low quality JPEG ,GIF or any other files and our expert graphic designers turn it into a vector art in the minimal turn around time.

On the other hand, Embroidery digitizing is a complex form. It is the most effective and modern technique to introduce elegant designs because it needs more details and sometimes a sew out before finalization from the customer. We provide you the best digitizing services globally .However, Our mainstream customers are from the USA.

HOW DOES AN EMBROIDERY DIGITIZING SERVICE WORKS?

Many people consider embroidery digitizing as simple as uploading your image on computer and assign the digitizing to the machine .But an embroidery digitizing service work by following the different key steps .

The digitizers take the image in JPG and PNG format and convert it into the embroidery file .The type of embroidery file depends on the type of machine we are using at IMPACT digitizing which provides the best digitizing services globally.

AN EMBROIDERY DIGITIZING SERVICE WORKS THROUGH FOLLOWING THE MULTIPLE STEPS:

First of all you have to install a digitizing software in your computer .we, IMPACT digitizers, are using WILLCOM software .Once our exhilarating digitizers have chosen their embroidery software ,follow the steps below:

STEP1:UPLOAD LOGO TO THE DIGITIZING SOFTWARE

First of all our digitizers convert the customers`s image into JPG or PNG format and cut the unnecessary space around the image you`d like to be embroidered.

STEP 2: SET THE SIZE OF EMBROIDERY DESIGN

Our digitizers then mark the dimensions of the embroidered logo or design .This will be exact design size that would  come out as sew out on the fabric. So vigilantly measure the available space for embroidery on the product first. Now move to the next level.

STEP3:CHOOSE THE STITCH TYPE

While doing embroidery digitizing, each design is assigned to some kind of stiching type. The basic types of stitches include satin, run, and fill stitches. There are variations in the designs depending upon the type of stitch ,direction of the stitch ,time at which it should start and stop.

We also consider the fabric type and the push and pull effect of the garment when selecting the stitch types.

There are three most common machine embroidery stitch types.

Straight stitches:

It is the fundamental stitch for embroidery in which straight lines are drawn to make a pattern .These lines can be repeated to make a densed design like a logo of PEPSI. However stitches are not only use for the straight lines but they can be used for the curved shapes.

These stitches can be used for

·       Shading

·       Outlining

·       Detail work

Satin stitches:

If our customer require an embroidered text then our expert digitizers use satin stitch .It gives a shiny look that works perfectly for letters. The maximum stitch length for satin stitch is 12.1 mm.

These stitches are mainly used for:

·       Words and texts

·       Borders

·       Achieving a shiny look

Fill stitches:

As the name suggests that this kind of stitch is use to fill the patterns .It also known as tatami stitch or the ceding stitch .They use the alternating lines to give the embroidery  a woven appearance. The maximum stitch length for full stitch is 4mm.

They are most commonly used for

·       Filling in blank spaces

·       Creating a textured look

·       To make larger designs

·       To ensure durable applications

STEP4 :SET THE DIRECTION OF STITCH

It is important to draw a map which is required by our machines to follow the step by step instructions for each and every stitch .Different types of stitches ,discussed above, can be used as per the required texture , contour and adjustment of the design. This is one of the most important step in embroidery digitizing which cannot be overlooked. Skipping this step could invite the unwanted trims ,jumps, and an unsightly machine pattern .Excellent stitch direction is time saving for IMPACT digitizing.

STEP 5:SETTING THRED COLORS FOR EMBROIDERY

Embroidery digitizers paint with stitches .They select the colors for embroidery from the color bar .

STEP 6:TRANSFER THE FILE TO THE EMBRODERY MACHINE

Then our digitizers transfer the embroidery file, in the format of dst, exp, jef etc ,to our embroidery machine .They done it through a USB cable or a flash card or through directly their computers in which the embroidery software is running .

STEP 7: PREPARING THE EMBROIDERY MACHINE TO START EMBROIDERY

Firstly, our embroiders need to select the accurate needles ,threads orientation and embroidery sequence. They make sure that they have the required color threads. Then they position the fabrics in the embroidery frames and then slither them into the arms of embroidery machine.
